The Business Challenge

The world’s largest engineering products manufacturer discovered a leadership gap right at the heart of its operations — the mid-management layer.
Despite strong technical expertise, managers struggled with people leadership, cross-functional influence, and fostering healthy competition across teams.

This gap wasn’t minor — it was affecting collaboration, decision-making, and on-ground execution across four factories.

Skalent INDIA’s Approach

Skalent refused to deliver a generic “leadership workshop.”
Instead, we co-designed a 2.5-month needs discovery, created a custom identity — Saksham — and delivered an 8-month blended leadership journey across 108 managers.
The intervention integrated:

  • Real factory-floor role plays
  • 34 group coaching circles
  • Context-specific cases
  • Technical delivery projects
  • Continuous stakeholder feedback loops

What does it take to build a leadership program that mirrors the organisation’s real-world challenges?

The Journey

The Saksham journey was engineered for depth and relevance — not attendance.
Participants experienced:

  • Orientation + Prework that surfaced real functional challenges
  • Leadership labs focused on control, persuasion & competition
  • Scenario-based conflict simulations
  • Team-dynamics activities
  • 24×7 facilitator support for behavioural adoption

This wasn’t a workshop — it was a complete leadership ecosystem built around the participants’ realities.
